Spooky Cemetery Stroll | Stories Beneath the Stones

Experience the magic of fall with an evening walk through Wichita’s historic Calvary Cemetery grounds. As part of Walktober, these guided tours invite you to enjoy the crisp October air while exploring the fascinating history, artistry, and symbolism found among the headstones. It’s a perfect mix of seasonal spirit and community storytelling.

The cemetery is located south of Kellogg and east of Hillside. Use the address of 602 S. Rutan for navigation. Parking is available along Rutan Street, on the western edge of the cemetery, and also along the internal roads located in the cemetery. There is a small parking area south of the mausoleum. Do not park on the grass, nor on any graves. Try to only park on one side of the cemetery road to ensure other vehicles can get through.
