Political Activities and Lobbying
Advocacy is at the core of BikeWalkKC's mission, which includes lobbying for public policy, legislation, and ballot questions. As a 501(c)3 charitable organization we do not engage in political activities in support/opposition of individual candidates for elected office.
This means we do not make candidate endorsements, nor do we make monetary or in-kind contributions to any candidate committee. We do endorse/oppose ballot questions. No funds from government contracts or grants are used for lobbying.
